The PerQdisc is an in-situ formed silicone-based prosthesis designed for patients undergoing nucleus replacement surgery to treat chronic low back pain associated with degenerative disc disease (DDD). The PerQdisc is designed to replace the patients diseased nucleus pulposus, which may be the source of pain in many patients. The PerQdisc technology is designed to emulate the natural function of the native nucleus pulposus, which allows for a motion-preserving surgical option.
